Vaishno Devi Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya Gondahi Kunda Pratapgarh has been set up by Jai Maa Vaishno Devi Shiksha Samiti Gondahi Chergarh Kunda Pratapgarh, with the objective to impart and enhance the quality of education
in general and meeting the need of producing trained teachers in particular.
This society was set-up and registered on 27th Day of June, 1998-1999 under the
Society Act 1860, started functioning in 1998 with mere 500 students under the
banner “Vaishno Devi Inter College”,
affiliated to UP Board which is now one
of the well reputed, full-fledged senior secondary schools of Pratapgarh
